These terms apply to undertheseanc.com and to purchases and services from Under The Sea Aquarium Marketplace, 3816 Sardis Church Rd, Suite 107, Monroe, NC 28110 (“we”, “us”). By using this site you accept them.

1. Using this site
You may use this site to learn about our products and services, check stock, and get in touch. Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a volume that affects other visitors, or use it for anything unlawful.
2. Stock lists, pricing & availability
The livestock list on this site is refreshed from the store's own stock sheet, but inventory moves fast. A listing is not a reservation and does not guarantee availability. Prices shown are the price at the time the list was refreshed and may change without notice.
If you are travelling for something specific, call 980-328-0000 first and we will confirm it is still here. We will happily hold an animal for a reasonable period once you have spoken to us.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, and to decline a sale where we believe the animal is not suited to the buyer's system.
3. In-store only
Livestock is sold in-store only. We do not ship or deliver fish, coral, inverts or plants to retail customers. Livestock delivery to customers on a maintenance plan is part of that service, not a retail shipping offer.
4. Livestock
Fish, coral, invertebrates and plants are living animals. Their health depends heavily on the system they go into. We will advise honestly on compatibility and requirements, but once an animal leaves the store its care is your responsibility.

You are responsible for complying with North Carolina law on which species you may keep, buy or transport. Some species that were once common in the hobby are now restricted.
5. Maintenance services
Maintenance is provided on the schedule agreed with you — weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Scheduled visits are billed as agreed. Parts, livestock, media, filter socks, salt mix, RO/DI water and specialty equipment are billed separately.
We need safe, reasonable access to the aquarium at the agreed time. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged. Either side can end a service arrangement with reasonable notice.
Our 24/7 emergency line is for service customers with urgent problems affecting livestock or equipment. Emergency call-outs may be charged at a call-out rate.
6. Bookings & third-party services
Appointment booking is provided by Square and job applications by JotForm. When you use them you are also subject to those companies' terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability or their handling of your information — see our privacy policy.
7. Content & intellectual property
The Under The Sea name, logo, site design, text and photographs are ours or used with permission. Please do not reproduce them commercially without asking. You are welcome to link to any page on this site.
Photographs in the client gallery show real installations we built or maintain.
8. Liability
We provide this site's content in good faith and keep it as accurate as we can, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free — particularly stock and pricing, which change constantly.
To the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law, our liability arising from your use of this site is limited. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Claims relating to a purchase or service are handled under our refund policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Union County, North Carolina.
